I have been creating art since middle school, and I have been designing since high school. I believe that graphic design is a way of visually telling a story. Without design, I feel like the world would not have a form of creative visual communications. As a designer, my main goal is to creatively communicate a message to the audience with words and graphics in a meaningful and effective way. This requires certain steps. First, I would do some research. Then, I would work on my thumbnails, digital roughs, and versions. Lastly, I would submit my final design or version for review. Designing is more of an action for me. Designing also requires a lot of problem solving and critical thinking which I enjoy. Solving a design problem gives me a sense of accomplishment. When I design work, I mainly focus on creating vector-based designs. I like creating vector graphics because of the limitless possible designs that can be made, and the cartoon look vector graphics tend to have. Cartoons and comics are what inspired me to pursue graphic design, so I particularly like the cartoon style. I also enjoy creating digital hand drawn raster graphics. I have enjoyed art since I was young and being able to combine my love of art and digital graphics is wonderful. Most of my work is done in these two styles. My work mainly consists of digital graphics like posters and logos. I like using bright colors to make my work stand out and to bring the audience joy whenever possible. My designs do not fall into a particular age category, and I do not work with explicit content. What makes my work unique is the little details that I include in my designs to give them more personality.
